Here you meet some strange new dragons and people and learn about their culture. You get to see the Far Isles, then you get to see an even farther away island where Velika is taken. Being able to feel this way about the characters really makes this such a great series for me! I like it when they feel like real people and have their faults perfection creates unreal people.Įxploring all these new places in this book was interesting. You come to like some of them and despise the others. The new characters that are introduced are well described, and developed rather well for being introduced in the last book. The plot moved along at a great pace! I was never uninterested because something exciting was always happening and it was intense during some parts too! The characters are more developed as the story moves on and you get to know more about them. It was awesome to be able to visit the dragons on their new home in the Far Isles! It is a wonderful place filled with many new creatures, and the dragons are loving it! I liked how we got to hear about Shardas and his new collection that he started, and to see Velika for the first time in this book was not a surprise to me, but exciting nonetheless! I also enjoyed meeting some new dragons, and getting to know others better.
